Cauliflower mash 

Cauli mash one of the most delicious recipes my mom made for us a few years ago, I love it!!! The texture is creamy and fluffy, the bonus is its a low carb vegetable. If you are on a healthy eating plan or low carb eating plan this is perfect.


1 cauliflower head

1 Tablespoon of butter

Pinch of pink Himalayan salt 

Parsley, spring onion or coriander for,the garnish  

Milk is optional – you can use low fat or almond milk

Olive oil 


  1. Wash the cauliflower, break the florets into pieces, boil on the stove in a medium pot or saucepan for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Add salt, butter, milk, use hand held blender, blend for a minute or two, ensure its smooth.
  3. Ensure the water has burnt out and the texture is creamy and not to watery.
  4. Add garish, drizzle olive oil, ready to serve.
