Chocolate Surprise 


I have a sweet tooth and anything healthy that’s natural and sweet is a must try for me, I love experimenting with desserts and foods, textures and colours.

Chocolate Surprise:


  • 3 Tablespoons of Monate hot chocolate elixir
  • 1 litre of full cream milk, almond milk can be used as a substitute for vegans.
  • 2 teaspoons of agar agar powder (available at Dischem)
  • 1/2 teaspoon of elachi powder


  • Bring all ingredients to the boil on a medium heat, use a hand held blender to smooth the mixture, stir for 10-12 minutes.
  • Pour warm mixture into moulds or use muffin pan as a mould, allow to set once cool place in the fridge.
